Restoration in progress
We are proud to offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the experience of bringing a Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 back to life
The car was bought by a US Army Sergeant new in Germany and then wrecked in 1968, then later shipped back to the United States in March of 1969. The last time this car was driven was before it was wrecked in Germany, which leads us to believe the 24,555 miles indicated on the odometer was in fact original. The car has sat in a wrecked state since. Many of the documents are from Jaguar Coventry regarding the original owner trying to get parts to repair the car. The car was sold to the second owner sometime in the late 70s or early 80s, and remained with him until it was acquired by Classic Investments.
Our team includes welding and body experts, traditional panel beaters, paint specialists, coach trimmers, mechanical technicians and project managers. We can make your dream into a reality. We ensure that your E-Type Jaguar is built to the exact specification required, whether this be Jaguar factory original or uprated to meet the requirements of today’s roads.
Where others have finished – we begin. It is not unusual for us to spend over 600 hours preparing a classic that others would claim as perfect. Why? Because we restore in Concours quality.
Concours mean condition #1 vehicles. They are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best vehicle, in the right colours. Perfectly clean, the vehicle has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted.
